Olga Yushuvayeva is a Nurse Practitioner specializing in the Adult-Gerontologic population. Olga graduated with her BSN from Adelphi University in 2013 with a Magna Cum Laude degree. She embarked on her journey as an RN in a sub acute rehab in downtown Brooklyn where she cared for post hospital patients on a Rehab floor with that required direct patient care. As much as she loved the art of bedside nursing, she then took the role of a charge nurse where she would do all the admissions and have communication with the on call MD to communicate any issues or changes in patient status. Simultaneously Olga earned her Masters of Science Nursing.
Eventually, Olga returned to bedside nursing in a different type of setting working at NYU Winthrop hospital on a medical surgical telemetry floor where she gained a large exposure and knowledge to chronic and acute illnesses. She later decided she would be a compassionate and caring provider which led her to earn a Post Master's Certificate in Adult-Gerontology-Primary Care. She is certified by AANP. Olga takes her role seriously caring for vulnerable mostly homebound patients. She understands that the most effective care is patient centered which is backed by evidence based practice taking into account the needs and wants of the individual patient and how they define quality of life.
